People have been speculating the death of test matches ever since T20 took the world by storm. Ranji trophy has been around for ages and we have not cared less, but IPL has got all of us glued to the TV from its first edition itself.
So, hypothetically, if there is a decision to take to scrap one of them - Tests or T20, which one would you scrap? Do you think we should do away with Tests to make way for more T20 or other way round?
As for myself, I cannot see test cricket dying. I love it..
I love all formats of cricket. I take it as a Seasons ( Summer,winter,Rainy). Only Difference is T20 the percentage of Excitement is more bcoz most of the matches are Very close(any team can win). In Test match few matches are close but the Excitement is same.
i give importance to t20 rather than one day because it gives quickly results
Test cricket is real cricket. T20 is just like a highway drive, you dont see the real driving skills..
If ppl want to take rest then they look for Test match..
Similarly need more fun lets go for T20
Obvious thing that T20 will be given the importance because of its less time and more thrilling than any format of the cricket.
i want that test should be given so much importance as like t20 . the meaning of cricket resides behind the test . its ok that ipl is much more entertaining than test but the test cricket is the proud of cricket…………….
