So, what can get Rajasthan Royals in? One of the spot is taken either by the Deccan Chargers or the Royal Challengers. In the event of Chennai winning over Kings XI Punjab, and Rajasthan defeating Kolkata Knight Riders today, they are directly through.

If Kings XI Punjab manage to defeat Chennai (and Rajasthan still winning the match today), then it comes down to the Net Run Rate in which case, Chennai will have its go looking at the present situation since Rajasthan is well below Chennai in NRR. So, the only option left is to win and win it big. And Kolkata, coming from their terrific win over Chennai will not be any easy pushover. Good Luck Rajasthan!

The fiftieth match of IPL 2009. What a season this has been and there cannot be a more exciting match than this one. Delhi Daredevils might be through to the semis, but that does not warranty a break of momentum at this stage of the contest. Will Warnie play one more before retiring the fate of his team to destiny? This one is a nail biter…I pray for the Royals to win..That would add to the excitement..

Mumbai Indians won a blinder of a contest against Kings XI and today would be aiming for a hat-trick against the Royals. The Royals on the other hand have been losing their key players one by one. Kamran Khan was first and now the Spin wizard himself is out with a hamstring injury. Only a miracle can save the Royals and it is pretty clear that that won’t happen today.

Good things always come to an end. Can Rajasthan Royals make that happen to Chennai Super Kings who have now four wins in a row. Royals have the power in Yusuf to do that, especially with the bowling and fielding of Chennai looking so ordinary at present. The toss is going to be so crucial in this game. Warne and his men will surely be looking to avenge their defeat in their previous encounter.

Whatever happened to Warnie. The defending champions would be lagging at the bottom of the table, if not for the Knight Riders. But then, one win can change it all. This IPL is so open that a win today can see the Royals among the top 4. A win for the Kings XI can take them to the top of the table. So, its a battle which neither of the teams would want to lose. The Rajasthan Royals are clearly coming back into groove, if their last match against Delhi Daredevils was anything to go by. Warnie has been marshaling his troops quite well now and with the lack of a stinging bowling attack from Chennai, it is going to be all too easy for the Royals. Chennai has to do something extraordinary to win back from here.

Delhi Daredevils are having a wonderful season having won all three of the matches played. Now, it is to be seen if the juggernaut can be stopped by the defending champs who are themselves not in the best of forms. I reckon Delhi to win this one as well!
