Warnie has been marshaling his troops quite well now and with the lack of a stinging bowling attack from Chennai, it is going to be all too easy for the Royals. Chennai has to do something extraordinary to win back from here.

After yesterday’s battle for the bottom of the table, today is the match for the top. The Deccans have not lost a single game till now and Gilly would want to make it plus one. Sehwag’s men too were on the same boat till a couple of evenings back when they lost to the Rajasthan Royals. Momentum is clearly with the Chargers. Let’s wait till the evening when they win one more!

Sachin and Jayasuriya are in the forms of their lives, if the last match was anything to go by. When both of them are going to strike form at the same time, it is close to impossible for the other team to not be demoralized and lose the match. And even the Kings XI fans shouldn’t mind a bit if they are going to lose to Sachin. What say?

Given a chance, both these teams will run away from IPL. And they are playing today! Dogged by controversies or bad form or both, KKR wouldn’t mind if they did not have to play one more match. On the other hand, this is going to be Pieterson’s last match in this season of IPL before he leaves his team and he would want to make one last impact. Let’s hope Pieterson gets his due..

Knight Riders had an unfortunate washout of their previous game. Mumbai Indians had an unfortunate finish. The strategic timeout has been taking its toll, and it was the master blaster last time. Dhoni’s tigers are wounded. They have lost far too many matches than they deserve. It is vice versa for the Deccan Chargers who have now won three on the trot. Time to get things balanced. Will Super Kings get it up right is for people to see as they take on the Chargers today at Durban. The Super Kings have to win now!

The BIG question is not whether the Royals will win or the Kings. But the question is will there be a match or not. After yesterday’s match at Cape Town was royally messed up by the rains, one thing the Kings wouldn’t want is more rains and their performance getting another jolt. Anyway, they must be on a high after their previous win and so would the Royals be after the nail biter against KKR. May there be a match!

But one team that has remained consistently bad through all thick and thin has been the Royal Challengers who do not seem to be challenging anyone yet again. Albie Morkel lost the match for Chennai last time. He just did not click. And Dada tried his best to get KKR win the last one, but others like Yashpal failed him. So two wounded tigers here.
